Tips for Choosing the Right Dentist

Tips for Choosing the Right Dentist

Choosing a Dentist in Adelaide can make all the difference between a pleasant experience and a bad one. This may have an effect on your dental requirements and prevents good dental health. Many people find dentist through phonebooks or will choose dentist at random local dentist. You can also choose from the list of dentist on your community to provide dental services. Although you can find a good dentist this way, choosing a dentist should be more careful than just selecting your dentist at random. So how should I choose a dentist? The dentist should be chosen according to your needs.

A Dentist in Adelaide should always have a good dental education and must be licensed. You need to make sure that their license to date. Depending on the type of dentist you are looking for, it might need additional certification as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and Dental Medicine. This brings us to another important factor when choosing a dentist. What kind of dentist you're looking for? Are you looking for a general dentist or do you have any specific dental problem that needs fixing? You may be looking for a dentist or cosmetic dentist who specializes in cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening and porcelain veneers.

If you should choose a general dentist, choose someone who can make you feel comfortable in the dentist chair and whom you can trust. He can also offer you advice on his recommendation for a special dentist if you need other work done. For example, your dentist may perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning teeth thoroughly; make the filling of cavities, identifying specific problems that more dentists will examine and address, and other common diagnoses. Always follow your dentist before choosing him as the supplier of your teeth as you would be comfortable with him or work on your teeth. This applies to all types of dental service you decide whether a general dentist or dental specialist who was recommended by a general dentist.

Another type of Dentist in Adelaide you should really be concerned with is a cosmetic dentist. For general dentistry, you can choose the more popular ones because many people have gone to have their oral health examined there. There are a lot of people that may refer to you an excellent dentist. However, not many people are willing to pay for cosmetic dentistry that is not required. For this reason, it is more difficult to find a cosmetic dentist that many people go in for procedures. In this case, you should find the following factors when choosing a cosmetic dentist:

• Education, certification and licensing of cosmetic dentist, you should also inquire about their clinical experience in the field and what is their specialty.

• Ask about a referral if the dentist does not perform cosmetic surgery at all.

• How long have you been in practice of dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in particular? How long in his training and where he was before starting his training.

• You have to ask professionals about their options and other opinion on dental procedures.

• If there is a recovery facility after the emergency procedure performed? What kind of prescription medication should you take after the procedure?

• What is the cost of dental procedure? Are there financing options? Do they have a choice of payment system or dental insurance coverage?

What Are Unblocked Games?

What Are Unblocked Games?

Given the technological advancement that we have in today's generation, everything is provided on the internet. Just about everything that you want to know can be searched on the web. In fact, the internet is considered to be the most influential form of media entertainment. One of these forms of entertainment that is well adored by many regardless of the age and walk of life of the person, are online games. There are hundreds of online games and all of these bring joy to the user. However not all online activities are suitable to young gamers. Hence there is what we call blocked and unblocked. Unblocked are more applied in educational premises like children's schools to ensure that children are provided with guidance when it comes to online gaming. In this situation, a proxy is introduced to be able to block and unblock games.

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary from one network to another. When a file is being requested by a client from another server, the proxy acts as a filter for the file then evaluates the file according to the security filter of the main server before giving the requested file to the client. On the other hand there are still unblocked games in school and these include action, adventure, arcade, puzzle, shooting, sports, strategy, and other media games, which are all fun and educational.

Tips to Help Lower Your Car Rental Costs

Tips to Help Lower Your Car Rental Costs

With the high cost of car rental, the price is sometimes no longer worth the convenience. Sure, the rising price of gasoline at the pump has something to do with high car rental fees. But what most of us don't realize is that most of what's in your rental bill is due to hidden charges. These charges can actually contribute to half of what they charge for your bill.

Most rental car agencies won't tell you this, but most of those hidden charges are optional. You can save money by having them removed in your car rental bill. We'll show you what these hidden charges are, what they mean, and how you can talk your way out of them.

* Airport taxes and surcharges is what car rental agencies charge you extra for the convenience of picking up your rental car at the airport. This extra service can actually amount to 10% of your total bill. The reason they charge you more when you want your car bought to the airport is because of taxes and concession fees. Car rental agencies have to pay concession fees to the airport management every time they bring a rental to the airport. The agency also has to pay business taxes to the local government for doing business at the airport.

Most airports and some rental companies have free shuttle service with fixed routes. To remove this hidden charge from your car rental bill, take advantage of this free service and just have your car dropped off at a location away from the airport. That way, the car rental reduces cost and you don't get charged extra for their service.

* Collision Damage or Loss Damage Waiver is the extra $10-$25 you have to pay per day in order to avoid liability for any damage on your rental car, provided that the damage wasn't caused by gross negligence.

Most car insurance and credit card insurance cover rental cars as part of their standard coverage. Check if your insurance company covers rental cars and if they do, have the Loss Damage Waiver removed. You're just wasting money if you're paying for collision damage on top of your regular insurance.

* At first glance, gasoline charges seem like a great idea. Imagine getting your rental car with a full tank. You don't need to stop by gas stations along the way and you can return the car with an empty tank if you want to.

However, most car renters can't completely consume a full tank of gas. You won't get a refund if you don't use up all your gas but you could get penalties added up to your bill. It's still cheaper to gas up your own rental car you only have to pay for the amount of fuel that you need.

* If you drop of your rental car at a different location from where you picked it up, you may get charged with a drop-off fee. Drop-off fees vary from state to state. Some states don't have drop-off fees while some have fees that can go as high as $1000.

So as much as possible, return your car at its original pick-up point. If it's not possible to return your car back in the same place, look for drop-off places where the fee is minimal.

* The early return fee is something that car rental agencies charge you when you return your car too early. A car rental company can charge you $10-$15 per day for early returns. And if that's not enough, they'll also change your rental rates. Instead of charging you their weekly rate, they'll charge you their daily rate. Not only do you have to pay for your early return fees, you have to pay for that rate difference too. In order to save yourself from paying hundreds of dollars in fees, make sure you return your rental car on the exact date stated in your policy.

Most of the hidden charges that car rental companies add to your bill are due to penalties for breaking your rental policy. This is why you should read and understand your rental policy before signing the contract. Ask your car rental company to make sure you have everything covered in your contract. By knowing everything there is to know about your policy, you'll be able to avoid any penalties and keep your car rental costs at a minimum.

Dental Consulting - A Bridge to Better Business

Dental Consulting - A Bridge to Better Business

A dental consulting firm can help a dental practice develop and execute a successful business plan. From defining long-term goals to attending to small details, a consultant can improve a dental office's ability to deliver its services.

For a practice to thrive, it must function efficiently at multiple levels, from offering the care clients want to marketing its services to bill collection to customer service. Even a small practice has to juggle this array of responsibilities, which can become overwhelming.

A dental consultant can address all of these areas or target individual issues. In either case, the goal is to build an organized, smoothly running practice that can compete in its local marketplace.

The big picture and the little details
Long-term profitability requires long-range, strategic planning. But amid the daily demands of running a dental office, time for this crucial planning may slip away. A dental consulting firm can put together a strategic plan for a practice and outline the steps necessary to meet the plan's goals. The firm also can hold the practice accountable, making sure the goals are met.

A consultant may be especially valuable if the practice is confronting major challenges: aiming for substantial growth, dealing with a transition in or expansion of services, or struggling to attract and retain clients. A consultant can draw on previous experience with similar practices to solve these big-picture issues. In a competitive environment, the cost of a misstep could be dire, which makes a consultant's guidance vital.

A good dental consulting company hired to develop a strategic plan or address other issues like a marketing plan will take the time to evaluate how these initiatives are executed and who is carrying them out. Details matter. They can drive the success of a plan or derail it. A good consultant will attend to them. If the accountant is sloppy and careless, a personnel change may be necessary. If customer service is poor, training should be provided. If a dentist has fallen behind industry current standards, some continuing education may be in order.

A healthy office and hiring a consultant
A fresh perspective and a new business plan offered by an outside party also has the potential to reduce conflict within the office. A consultant can assess the health of the business objectively and create a long-term plan that does not fall prey to internal agendas and biases. Ideally, the consultant is a unifying and empowering force for the practice and its staff members.

Before hiring a consultant, a dental practice should know why it needs and wants the counsel of an external adviser. The reasons should be specific and significant, so the results can be measured and meaningful. Because this is a substantial financial commitment, the dental practice should interview several candidates and their clients. Results matter more than promises, so the satisfaction of previous clients should be weighed heavily.

8 Ways a Facebook Marketing Training Course Can Help Your Business

8 Ways a Facebook Marketing Training Course Can Help Your Business

Facebook is no doubt the most powerful Social Media site for businesses to target and engage with customers as well as generate leads.

The challenge for most businesses is how to use Facebook as a business tool to achieve the results they want. But just like any new topic, tool or technology, if you want to get the most out of it you need to educate yourself.

Here are 8 ways a Facebook Marketing training course can help your business...

The Newest (and hottest) Marketing Tool

Facebook is one of the newest and hottest marketing tools to come along in the past ten years. With the vast number of active members, the ability for a business to meet, market, engage and sell to customers is almost unlimited.

The reason why Facebook works as a marketing medium is because users CHOOSE to be there. So when you create a Facebook Page, it's WITHIN the prospect's chosen environment. And this is why their 'sales barriers' are down more than usual which leads to increase engagement and conversions.

How SOCIAL can grow your business

It's called SOCIAL Media for a reason! People love to be social; it's hard-wired within us, so when a website comes along like Facebook that allows us to connect and engage with our friends we're naturally drawn to it.

How this can work for your business is by positioning your business in such a way that prospects and customers WANT to engage with you. Just because they're on Facebook and you're on Facebook doesn't mean you'll instantly make sales, you still need an effective Social Media Strategy and know Facebook Psychology to make it work.

Facebook Psychology for Business

Marketing is psychology. The best marketers understand the how their target market thinks and react emotionally to certain triggers whether they be verbal, written or visually with images and video.

As Facebook is a marketing tool it comes with its own psychology, and you need to know it if you're to maximise your results as a business. You can either figure out the psychology of how Facebook Marketing works or attend a workshop or seminar with a Social Media expert who's done all the hard yards for you.

People Equity, Investing in your team

Facebook Marketing Training for your team members makes sense if you want to leverage your time as the business owner. By having your team members educated in this new social world, you'll know the shortcuts to make Facebook happen for you.

Having your existing Marketing Manager equipped with effective Facebook Marketing strategies is just smart business.

If you were to upgrade a software program you use in your business, you'd send one or more of your team members along to a training course to fast-track their knowledge on the new software's features, so why not do the same with Facebook?

Engage with Prospects and Customers

As we've mentioned, it's Social Media. Social Media sites like Facebook allow you to target, find, attract, engage and sell to prospects and customers.

People will always take action on things they're interested in. So, to engage with prospects and customers ask yourself: "What would cause someone to genuinely be interested in and engage with the products and services I offer?".

When you can come up with a solution(s) to this question, you're ready for some serious engagement and relationship building with customers.

Social Leverage

If you apply marketing principles to Facebook psychology you have a powerful way to connect with and sell to people. Marketing is the process of triggering positive emotions within your target market (and removing fears) to initiate the action of buying.

Social Media is very powerful here because it allows you to market to people via their friends. You've probably seen one example of this on Facebook where it says "John Smith (your friend) also likes such and such a Page". Given that you generally have similar interests, likes and dislikes as your friends this presents your business via a trusted third party (your friend). A very powerful strategy.

Social Media Management

Social Media is time vs money. Like any other marketing tool, any smart business owner wants a return on their investment. Knowing the RIGHT way to market your business using Facebook will SAVE you time (saving you money) and MAKE you money (using the right Facebook Marketing Strategy).

Knowing how to manage your Facebook marketing in the most effective way using automation tools, apps and shortcut marketing strategies increases your leverage massively.

Facebook Lead Generation

One of the most common questions asked about Social Media and in particular Facebook, is "How can I make money with it?". The process of selling begins with lead generation.

Lead generation with Facebook is very easy ONCE YOU KNOW HOW. It's a matter of educating yourself with the help of someone's who's already doing it.

If a Facebook Marketing Training Course you're considering attending doesn't teach you how to generate leads, move on. If you're not making money in Social Media, it's costing you money.

We've covered the eight ways a Facebook Marketing Training Course can help your business so that you'll know what to look for (and what or who to avoid).

Every business has a different reason for entering Social Media, above; we've outlined the most common reasons and trust that you'll choose your Facebook Marketing Training Course wisely.

Knitting Techniques and the Ways We Knit

Knitting Techniques and the Ways We Knit

If you're a knitter, you are either a hobby knitter, making a hat or blanket here and there for gifts, or you knit for the challenge of advancing your skills with every new item. The advanced knitters are interested in learning different skills and are always looking for patterns, charts and techniques. They have their patterns, stash of yarn and supplies neatly organized and ready for action. They frequently have two or more works in progress (WIPs) and find it impossible to be monogamous to one project.

Knitters can create items using various techniques, such as those described below. It is not uncommon to combine methods of knitting, such as constructing the body of a sweater on a machine and then applying a fancy rib by hand.

Hand knitting: When most people think of knitting, they think of the traditional way of knitting with two needles and a ball of yarn. This remains a very popular and common way to knit. Ways to hand knit include using the garter stitch for fast and easy items, as well as using intricate cables, lace pattens, textured stitches and color changes to create cherished heirlooms.

The history of hand knitting dates back to before the 1600s, although this only represents the recording of the art of knitting. There is much controversy about descriptions of items found at archeological sites and in literature about whether they were woven or knit. I am reading A History of Hand Knitting by Richard Rutt. The book does a great job of chronicling the art of knitting and goes in to great detail about the earliest writings and samples of knitted items. The first described hand knit items seem to be stockings made of cotton and silk.

Machine Knitting: Industrial knitting machines seem to have been introduced around 1600 for the purpose of making knitted items faster and more efficiently. The machines were not well received initially because it was thought they would harm the livelihood of poor people who depended on the money they received knitting items at home.

In the early stages of machine knitting, it was apparent that hand knitters had the advantage over machine knitters because hand knitting could more easily change designs with fashion changes. Also, hand knitters could work anywhere at any time. Machine knitters were confined to work only during the daylight hours and had to be in the spot where their machine was.

When those of us who knit hear the word "machine knitting" we think of using either a hobby knitting machine such as the Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine or a more advanced machine such a Brother or Passap to create knitted items. When discussion of machine knitting versus hand knitting arise, there is always someone who mentions their belief that items knitted on a machine are not hand made. Machine knitters are quick to point out that creating an item with a knitting machine most certainly involves setting up the bed of stitches, manipulating stitches for shaping and finishing the items by hand, thus qualifying their items as hand made.

Loom Knitting: Loom knitting appears to be a newer concept, mostly because of the recent development of brightly colored plastic looms found in craft stores and the versatile patterns available to make with looms. However, loom knitting has been around since before the original knitting machines.

Knitting looms were originally known as peg frames. The earliest mention of the peg frame was in 1535. A peg frame is described as a range of pegs on a fixed base arranged in a row or a ring. Stitches are made by treating each peg as a stitch on the needles. Stitches are knitted by winding the yarn twice around the pegs and lifting the bottom loop over the top loop. Stitches can also be knit on a base with the pegs arranged in rows, also known as a knitting board. This creates a fabric that is double sided.

Know Your Whisky - Whisky Types And Varieties

Know Your Whisky - Whisky Types And Varieties

There are a number of different types of alcoholic beverages, and in the midst of all of these, whisky stands out as different. With different types and varieties made from fermented grain mash, this highly desirable beverage has a number of different varieties. For example, there are different types of grain that is used in the production of whisky, such as barley, malted barley, maize, wheat and rye. The finished product is usually stored in an oak cask, and it gets better with age. Choosing the right variety of whisky that will best suit your palate can be quite a challenge and can pose a great deal of confusion. The list below can make this task a bit easier for you!

Scotch

One of the most popular varieties of whisky, Scotch is made from peat dried malted barley which has been distilled after fermentation. This distilled mixture is then blended with corn rye whisky. The corn rye is distilled at 180 proof whereas the initial distillation of the fermented barley is done at 140 proof. The end result is a light bodied smoky flavored drink that has its origins in Scotland.

Malt Whisky

Made out of malted barley, this type of whisky follows the traditional method of fermenting and distilling, and is very widely available. The pot in which it is made is traditionally shaped like an onion.

Single Malt Whisky

This type of whisky comes out of just one distillery and is not blended with any other type of whisky. It is made purely out of malted barley and bears the trademark of the distillery in its taste, which is specific to the distillery. This can be further blended with other varieties of this beverage for those who would like to have variations in the taste of Single Malt Whisky.

Vatted Malt Whisky

Malt whiskies from different distilleries are taken together and blended to form Vatted Malt Whisky. There are different types of labels that denote this type of whisky. Look out for labels that say "Malt, "Pure Malt" or "Blended Malt", and you will know that this is Vatted Malt.

Straight Whisky

This type of whisky is distilled at nothing more than 160 proof and is known for its full flavour, aroma and body. The minimum strength of the finished product is 80 proof, contains no additives apart from water, and is left to age for at least 2 years in charred oak barrels. Depending on the type of dominant grain used in the mash, the name of the whisky is labeled. When corn is used, it is known as Straight Corn Whisky and when wheat is used, it is known as Straight Wheat Whisky.

Blended Whisky

Blended Whisky is usually a blend between grain whisky and malt whisky. As grain whiskies are generally accounted to be of lower quality taste, a blend of malt whisky improves the quality of the final product. Blended Whisky is a product derived on blending malt whiskies of a number of different distilleries.

Grain Whisky

Malted as well as unmalted barley, apart from other grains such as maize and wheat are used to produce grain whisky. It was first in the 1930's that this type of whisky was produced, as a special still was invented for the purpose of its production. Used primarily in blends, this whisky is also good for consumption by itself.

Cask Strength Whisky

Cask Strength Whisky is whisky that is bottled as soon as it is taken from the cask, without any dilution. The alcohol content in this type of whisky is higher due to this.

Pure Pot Still Whisky

Pure Pot Still Whisky is whisky that is distilled in a pot-still, using mash that is composed of malted and unmalted barley. It is a product of Ireland and can be found exclusively there.

Rye Whisky

Rye Whisky is not very popular and is generally used in mixed drinks. However, many whisky lovers like it because of its heavier body that is made out of a fermented mash of a minimum of 51% rye.

Bourbon Whisky

A product of the United States, Bourbon Whisky is the finest spirit made in this nation. With at least 51% corn, this whisky is distilled at nothing less than 160 proof and stored in new charred oak barrels. The flavour is sweet and full bodied.

Irish Whisky

A blended malt of half oats and half barley is used to make Irish Whisky. There is no sweet or smoky flavour and has a blended taste of its own.

Canadian Whisky

Produced primarily in Canada, Canadian Whisky is usually made with corn. However, it can also contain wheat, barley or rye. The mash is distilled at a rather high proof and prior to bottling, it is filtered. Stored in either a new or an old barrel, it is expected to be left to age for at least 2 years before use. The taste is slightly sweet and is basically light.

Online Hotel Reservations Systems Have Changed The Travel Industry

Online Hotel Reservations Systems Have Changed The Travel Industry

Prior to the Internet, travelers could write, telephone or fax a hotel directly, or use a travel agent to make a hotel reservation. It used to take much time to make a reservation and receive a confirmed booking. Now everyone can log on to the internet and book travel for any destination in the world at the click of a button. It is easy to book flights, hotels, cruises, tours and much more on the internet from your computer. There has been a proliferation of travel websites in recent years that give customers all the information and booking facilities that was previously only available to travel agents.

Major hotels and hotel chains often have their own websites where customers can make online reservations. However, customers mostly prefer to use a global online reservation system to compare and shop for accommodation. It is too time consuming to compare several individual hotel booking systems for the best deal. Also individual hotels and small hotel chains often cannot afford the expense of their own system and utilise the services of the global online reservation systems.

A global online hotel reservation system offers a huge choice of hotels in any location around the world. These systems operate 24 hours a day receiving live data feeds from all the major hotels and many minor hotels in each city. Customers can ensure that they are getting the best discount hotel rooms by viewing all the pre-selected special deals on offer or searching and sorting the hotels by price, rating, availability, location and choosing the best option for their budget. The system also allows you to view photos of the hotel exterior and interior and read reviews hotel reviews from other travellers. This is invaluable information as it is impartial and independent of individual hotel promotions. Many of the reservations are confirmed online immediately which saves a lot of time. The booking is made in real-time so you know that once it has been confirmed the booking is complete. Some bookings in more exotic locations may take a day to confirm but the reservation system will email you with the confirmation. And once the booking is complete the hotel voucher is delivered to your email address and can be printed out for presentation to the hotel at check-in.

The online reservation system is a very powerful, convenient and easy way to book hotel rooms. Online hotel reservations are often helpful for making last minute travel arrangements as hotels may reduce the price of their rooms if there have not been enough reservations and they do not wish to be left with a empty hotel. However, it is recommended to book your hotel at least three or four days before check-in to ensure the booking is confirmed by the hotel especially if the hotel is located overseas or you are booking during peak season.

One great feature of an online hotel reservation system is that customers can easily change their travel arrangements online from anywhere in the world. This is invaluable if you are away from home and need to make an alteration to your hotel reservations.

Choosing a Web Designer

Choosing a Web Designer

Many small business owners struggle with deciding on how to make the right choice for designing their website. They search the web for help with their website and find that the choice is harder than they thought. Currently there are (literally) millions of websites who claim to be professional web designers. However, one must be careful in choosing the right person or people in which to trust their company image. In this article, I will attempt to categorize web designers into manageable groups, and teach the reader the difference between the types.

Web designers fall into four general categories: freelance amateur, freelance professional, Web Design Company, Web Development Firm.

Freelance Amateur

The majority of web designers you will come across, especially searching the Internet, are freelancers. That is, individuals who do web design but are not employed by a web design company. Some are self-employed professionals but most of these freelancers are amateur-hobbyist types. They find a copy of FrontPage™ came with their MS Office™ Suite. They discovered how fun it could be to make web pages so they started telling their friends that they could "design" web pages.

The "pros" of using an amateur is that they are very cheap. The "cons" are too numerous to mention, but I'll point out a few. They have no training; they have little knowledge of what makes a good website work; they do not understand HTML code or CSS but only FrontPage point and click; they do not understand general design and layout concepts and they have little real experience. The biggest reason they should be avoided for the serious businessperson, is that their work looks amateurish, which makes your company look amateurish. Who wants that?

Freelance Professional

A professional is often defined by simply being paid. People think that if you are paid for something, then you are professional. Maybe that's true in the Olympics, but for the business services world, you are not a professional until you are established and respected as one by your clients and peers. Freelancer professional web designers are a giant leap from the amateur in that they have established a portfolio of respectable work. They have some sort of qualified training and experience and they have credentials that can be verified by contacting references. They have a good reputation with their clients and other professionals. In general, a good freelance professional web designer can be good person to have doing your site. But they are hard to distinguish from the amateur when you are just searching the web.

The upside is, if you find a good one they are significantly cheaper than a web design company. But that is usually the only upside. If the budget limits you, then a freelancer will do for a small project. But anything seriously important should be left to a professional company.

Some downsides to using a freelance pro are that they are usually part-time, meaning they are limited in how much time they can devote to your project. They are also limited in what they can do for you. Most freelancers are specialists in one area and generalists in everything else. Some have no skills in anything except their one specialty and often you will have to find others to fill roles. In addition, freelancers are not always cheap although many of them are aspiring to create their own company; some are highly sought after and charge $100 per hour or more for their work. My advice here is, if you have that much to spend, go with a company that has a team of professionals to get the job done in a timelier manner.

Web Design Company

This is the next step beyond a freelance professional. The web design company offers the "whole show". They provide real project management and have pulled together a team of web experts to get a wider range of jobs done. A company can provide a much higher level of expertise in web design, programming, content development and more.

Such a company is usually very small, yet large enough to handle larger scale projects. Compared to the most highly qualified freelancer, a company has a diversity of talent and collaboration working for them. The end-result is usually a much higher quality product.

The only real drawbacks are on the one hand, the web design company is more expensive than a freelancer because there are many more people on the job. However, you get what you pay for rings true. On the other hand, for very large projects or long term development, web design companies may be too small and usually do not have the human recourses to accommodate that $500,000 contract. In the end, for serious business people looking for quality and professionalism and who can't afford the big firm, this is the way to go.

Web Development Firm

As the title implies, a web development firm is like any traditional company. They have a staff of office workers, they have owners and officers, and they have a team of talented professionals who are paid a good salary for their work. They often have a sales force that do inside and outside sales. The quality of their work goes without saying, as you could not be so well-established by doing shoddy work. These firms offer teams of very talented professionals who work on your project and get the job done in a timely and extremely efficient manner. Additionally, they usually cover all aspects of website development including marketing and advertising. They may have teams of specialists that they can deploy to your location and work in-house under a temporary contract. The possibilities are endless.

If price is not an issue and the highest quality work is necessary, then this is who you want to do the job. For smaller budget businesses, a quote from an established web development firm might knock you off your chair, but know that companies who have project requirements that reach hundreds of thousands of dollars know the score. Thus, the only real drawback for a web development firm is that they are usually very expensive. Then again, cost is relative and bigger companies like to work with bigger companies.

In summary, the choice is yours. I would recommend for the serious businessperson, that you budget a decent amount of dollars to properly design and execute a professional website. I would avoid the amateur and outsource to an individual or company with good experience and reasonable rates to create my web presence. If money were no object, then I would only deal with established firms and pay the big bucks to get the job done right and done well.

Kitchen Remodeling - Questions To Ask

Kitchen Remodeling - Questions To Ask

Remodeling your kitchen is a big decision in which you could probably use some sound advice. Questions that you need to have answered include:

How much will a kitchen remodeling job cost?

Will I be able to recoup my expenditures if I sell my house?

Can I change the layout of my kitchen?

The answers to these questions will help you to decide, first, if you should remodel your kitchen, and second, how you should remodel your kitchen. A kitchen design center will have experts on hand to answer any of your specific questions. It's worth your time to consult a specialist early in the decision making process of remodeling your kitchen. But, here are some generic answers to the above questions.

The cost of a kitchen remodeling job can vary widely, depending on the extent of the remodel. For the average $250,000 American home a complete kitchen remodel will range from $20-30,000 for a complete remodel with all new appliances. You can easily spend over $100,000 if you let your kitchen remodel get out of hand, or if you desire a gourmet kitchen. You can reduce the cost of your kitchen remodeling job by doing some of the work yourself, but if you are spending this kind of money, you want the total product to look professional, and unless you are an expert, it is usually best left to the professionals.

The general consensus is that you will recoup around 90% of the money spent on a kitchen remodel. While this may be a significant factor if you are planning to sell your house in the near future, it should also factor any time you decide to remodel your kitchen. Kitchen remodeling will also give you a great return in the satisfaction and pleasure that you will get from living with a new kitchen. This should be the main factor in deciding on whether not to remodel your kitchen.

Any kitchen layout can be changed, the question is: How much will you spend to make the changes? You should consider changing the layout of your kitchen if your house is more than 20 to 30 years old because kitchen functions and prominence have changed over time; or if, after living in your house for a while, you find the layout needs to be improved.

This is were an expert kitchen designer can help you with your decisions. A good designer will walk you through the kitchen remodel process, take your ideas and give them shape, and present you options that you may have never considered. The designer can give you a 3 dimensional view of any design ideas, change the cabinets, countertops, and other details with the click of a button; helping you to visualize exactly what your new kitchen will look like. It is much easier to change any items in your kitchen in a computer than it is in your final kitchen.

A kitchen designer will be familiar with all the newest trends in kitchen designs, know the latest options in green materials, and be up to date with new products for the kitchen. Their knowledge will save you a lot of legwork or computer searching, if decide to remodel your kitchen. If you begin your kitchen remodeling project by consulting with a kitchen designer, I think you'll be surprised with the insight they will give your whole kitchen project.

Buying Headphones That Are Comfortable For Your Ears

Buying Headphones That Are Comfortable For Your Ears

Nowadays most people, when buying headphones, consider comfort as the last thing that should be taken into consideration. But this should not be happening! We must still remember the information on the net and in some shops - "try it on before you buy it".

You must remember that there are lots of headphone products out there that are being bought more than $1,000 - yet these are very uncomfortable to use that you might think of just throwing it away just to avoid putting it on!

So what is your basis for comfort? First, determine if you like the sound right inside your ears or outside. If you prefer outside, do you want the style which sits around the ear or the style which sits right on you ear? They are usually known as the "circum" and the "supra" styles respectively.

Everything has its own good points and bad points. It is up to the buyer which style he wants to choose.
For the circum style, it basically gives a slightly muffled sound which makes the user feels like he is sitting in an auditorium - the feeling of being in the real scene. On the other hand, supra gives you a feeling of having the instruments being played right next to the user's ears.

Whichever style you prefer, just make sure that the ear pads are comfortable. Lots have leatherette coverings which gives a sweaty feeling. On the contrary, velvet pads do not have this problem. For me, I do not prefer ear bud styles. It really makes my ears sore. I have tried this style mostly before, but nothing matches the comfort given by the styles I have mentioned above. So if I were you, pick one style that I had given you - it will surely give you the comfort that you want to have.

Need a Painting Contractor? Should You Find One Yourself Or Use a Referral Service?

Need a Painting Contractor? Should You Find One Yourself Or Use a Referral Service?

I suggest that you find your painting contractor on your own when living in the Chicago area. Do your own research instead of hoping that contractor referral service will help you. I'll elaborate why I feel this way soon.

I would advise that you call a friend or relative who has recently had the interior or the exterior of their home painted by a professional painter. You can ask them how they felt about their experience. If they liked their painting contractor, they will let you know. They'll also let you know if they didn't. You should ask them how they felt about the painting company's quality, price and service. Was the contractor attentive to their needs or not? Just keep in mind that you're needs and wants will not be identical to your friend's or relative's. For example; was the painting contractor fully insured? Maybe your friend or relative didn't care if they were or not. When I say fully insured, I don't just mean a "liability insurance policy" that anyone can get for sometimes just a few hundred bucks a year. But, do they carry "workers compensation insurance" as well? Well, if they have even one employee, they are required to by law.

Another way to find a painter is to do an online search, open up your local yellow page directory or respond to a flyer that was hung on your door. Call the painters for a free estimate. I usually suggest getting three estimates. If you get too many more than that, then you'll just drive yourself crazy.

If you decide to try to find a Chicago area painting contractor by using a painting contractor referral service, just remember one thing. Most of the "qualified, fully insured" painting contractors and many customers that I know, who have enrolled in these referral services have been disappointed and disillusioned with the results and have stopped using the contractor referral service altogether. So, what do you end up getting with a lead referral service? You may just get some of the "least qualified" contractors! Yes, you heard that right. And you thought that they were going to be the best, being screened for you and all! Caveat Emptor! Let the buyer beware!

Let me explain something. These contractor referral services claim to "screen" painting contractors. Yet, they seem to be "negligent at best",when it comes to screening for workers compensation insurance", one of the most fundamental and basic areas that is of extreme importance to any professional, legitimate painting company and more importantly to you, the customer that is hoping that the contractor referral service is "looking out for you". Read on, I'm much more cynical than that. I don't think it is "negligence" on the part of the contractor referral services. I think it's more like "blatant disregard" for you, the customer. I truly believe, that the contractor referral services are banking on the fact that the average homeowner does not know the law; and then they use this to pull the wool over your eyes while basically implying to you the following. "Don't worry Mr. and Mrs. Homeowner. We are looking out for you. We "pre-screened" these contractors for you!" I know. That does sound cynical of me doesn't it? But, why do the contractor referral services fail to screen for such a "basic" thing as workers compensation insurance?

In Illinois, it is law, that when a painting contractor hires employees and has them working on your home, that those employees be covered by workers compensation insurance, just in case a painter gets hurt or dies while painting the interior or exterior of your home. Guess what. Painters do get hurt on jobs and more often than you might think. And serious injury for painters is actually quite common. And did you know that your homeowner's insurance may NOT cover you if a painter gets hurt while painting your house.

In fairness to some of these contractors, if a painter is working for himself and by himself, he is not required to carry workers compensation insurance on himself, but once he has a worker on the job, it's a new ball game. Even if the owner of the painting company excludes himself from his policy, he must still provide the workers compensation for his employee. Now, he'll probably tell you that he's paying him "as a subcontractor". Well when somebody gets hurt on the job, somebody is going to still come looking for money from the workers compensation insurer. When they find out that there is no workers compensation insurance, then somebody is still going to pay. The painter that is injured will look to collect from whoever has the most money. I would bet that in most cases that means you, the homeowner.

If you don't think that anyone could possibly get hurt on just this one little job for you, then I suggest you do a little research online. Just do a Google search for "house painting fatalities" or "house painting injuries". It might shock you. People get hurt doing construction and home improvements all the time. You can even narrow down your search to the Chicago area. I don't want to scare you, but you must open your eyes and see the world in which you live. Many times an unethical painter or other tradesman will even "fake" an injury, looking to milk a situation for a long time. Please don't be naive enough to think that it won't happen to you because you are nice person. Nice people are the "easiest" for people with no scruples to take advantage of. It happens all the time.

Maybe one contractor referral exists that screens for it, but I have personally NEVER seen a contractor referral service in the Chicago area screen painters for workers compensation insurance. I've only seen them screen for liability insurance, lawsuits or judgments and a few other things. They seem to be more concerned with the following: Joe Dokes in Winnetka says....."Hank and his brother and law were such nice guys, not only did they do a nice job painting my living room, but they also walked my dog?"

I have come to the conclusion and it is just my opinion, that there is a reason why the contractor referral services do NOT screen painters for workers compensation insurance. They leave this "extremely" important screening for workers compensation insurance out of their "screening process" because if they actually did screen for this insurance, then they would lose about 90% of their revenue generating customers, which are the painting contractors that pay for your name. You are a hot lead. And the contractor referral service will sell your name, address and phone number to anywhere from 2 to 4, to maybe even more painters. They'll collect money from these contractors whether you buy a paint job or not.

The reason the contractor referral service will NOT screen for workers compensation insurance is because over 90% of the painters that you attempt to hire from the referral service will NOT have this workers compensation insurance because it is too expensive, or they do not know that they are "required" to have their employees covered by it. I really don't blame the painters. These are men and women who are just out there in the world trying to make a buck to support their families. They may in fact be innocent. There are a lot of laws out there. They just need to be educated and if the contractor referral service "really" had the contractor's interest at heart, as well as you the homeowner, then they would tell the contractor that he should buy workers compensation insurance to make sure he passes the "screening" process and protects himself, his workers and his customers.

Therefore, what the lead referral services "actually" do is guarantee that you do NOT get the most qualified contractors bidding on your painting project. Instead you may even get the "least" qualified. This is not always the case. There are painting contractors in the Chicago area who are members of paint contractor referral services who do follow the law and carry the proper insurance. But, it's up to YOU to screen them, even if you hire them from a lead referral service who "claims" to have already qualified them. The lead referral service just won't do it because this would put them out of business because they wouldn't be able to sell leads to enough contractors. Remember, the painters that are contacting you when you have a contractor referral service give your name out, are "paying for your name and job information".

Lead referral services typically charge the painting contractor anywhere from $25 to $200 for "leads" (your name and address and what work you need done). You are a "lead". Some charge much more than that and even take a percentage of the job from the contractor. While in theory, I feel that a contractor referral service is a good idea, in practice, I just haven't seen it work because the contractor referral services are too greedy and want to charge 3 or 4 contractors for your name whether they are fully insured or not and whether you hire one of those contractors or not.

I was a member of several contractor referral services and had good ratings on most of them, however, after going on hundreds of appointments and spending thousands of dollars, I realized that I was bidding against contractors who were unqualified, yet winning the bids because their prices were dirt cheap. But, the customer thought they were "screened". If you are looking for "cheap" and don't really care if your painters are complying with Illinois law, then you might find this with the contractor referral services. So it might not be a bad idea to use them if you need to keep your price way low, since so many contractors will be contacting you that are out to cut each others throat. A lot of them can do beautiful work too. I'm not questioning the quality of the work of any of these contractors.

I suggest that you find your painting contractor, on your own; online, from a friend or relative, yellow pages, mass mailings, whatever. There are a lot of good contractors out there. This way, when you are getting your quotes, you can screen them yourself. You know the old saying, "if you want something done right....then do it yourself". The thing for me that determines professionalism in this industry is whether the painting contractor is "fully insured". Yep! I know....they ALL say they are! It's almost laughable.

The best way to actually find out if a painter is legitimate in my opinion is to ask him for a certificate of "workers compensation insurance" as well as a certificate of "liability insurance". If he's fully insured then he probably cares about the quality of his work, customer service and all of the other things that you would expect from a quality chicago area paint contractor. Ask him to have his agent send you a copy. Do not accept a copy of a policy from the contractor. Another quick and easy way to find out if a painting company is following Illinois law with respect to workers compensation is to call the Illinois Industrial Commission and simply give them the name of the contractor, his address and phone number. They will tell you right away whether that contractor who told you that he was fully insured, really is. The phone number for the Illinois Industrial Commission is 312-814-6611.

Nursing Clogs Help Traveling Nurse A Lot

Nursing Clogs Help Traveling Nurse A Lot

A good nurse will not pursue nursing just for the sake of making a living out of it. Similarly, a traveling nurse wouldn't have enrolled in the field for the sake of earnings or in order to spend lots of time with families by having to work in shorter shifts. They surely wouldn't be pursuing this career as it requires less physical exertion. Good nurses pursue their nursing career for the sake of serving the humanity. Rehabilitating injured and sick people and treating them in a correct way would be on top priority for these nurses and so it is very essential to use quality nursing clogs that could make their journey a bit comfortable.

It is not a cake walk for anyone to become a traveling nurse. There are few steps that one has to follow to become one. Firstly, the candidate has to get enrolled into a qualification program that is approved by an accredited agency or organization. As there is already a great shortage of these programs in the United States it is advisable for all aspirants to join these programs as early as possible before they actually get filled. Upon choosing a program, the candidates can then choose a degree of their choice from the available lot. Few of these degrees include an associate's degree, a bachelor's degree, a master's degree and even a nursing doctorate.

It is a must for all nurses that embark on a journey to have RN-registration done beforehand. It is only then these nurses can perform different tasks like diagnosis and administration of patients. That's not all; they also need to have a year's experience before they start traveling widely while on duty. Ensuring that these criteria's are fully met would only ensure that these nurses will be in best positions to attract best possible work whilst on move. And, of course, here the role of quality nursing clogs becomes so vital.

Nurses that tend to work in offices generally have a regular work schedule. They are required to administer medications to different patients, prepare them for examinations, and so on. As their's is a fairly regular job, traveling nurses hardly get an opportunity to work on these nurses' behalf except, may be, during maternity leaves. Home nursing is another area where general nurses ply their trade. These nurses are often required to travel short distances to visit their patient's home; that are either too sick or elderly, and treat them on a regular basis. These assignments are generally short and also less formal. However, home nursing can be an option for traveling nurses provided they are willing to do it for the patient's sake or out of their own interest.

Traveling nurses often work in tandem with traveling nurse agencies. Owing to their nature of work, these nurses wearing quality nursing clogs are required to be flexible and on their toes, literally. Nurses can, however, send in requests for a particular shift that they wish to take and their preferred work locations. But by being flexible enough to work anywhere and in any condition, they are likely to attract more opportunities. Also, if these nurses are communicative and possess outgoing personality, then chances are that they will succeed a lot in their career.

A Bouncy Castle Review - Mom's Opinion

A Bouncy Castle Review - Mom's Opinion

Finding things to keep youngsters occupied at a party or barbecue isn't always simple particularly if you have a group which vary in age.

However, I always found that a bouncy castle was the solution! The children (and adults!) would bounce and have a great time for hours no matter if they were toddlers or almost teens. It is brilliant fun and a great workout - the down side is the hassle and the expense of having to hire one for each event.

Then I realised that you could actually buy a bouncy castle, which would bring a huge amount of entertainment for the children on a more regular basis and which in the long run cost a whole lot less. So that is what I did and so did a couple of my friends. We all purchased bouncy castles, so, we have got together and written a review of each one.

Bouncy Castle Review 1:

Castle Inflatable Bounce House With Slide By Inflatable Impressions

I bought this for my two youngsters aged 3 and 6 years respectively and they think that this jumping castle is absolutely brilliant and I have to say I agree with them!

The first thing to mention about the inflatable bounce house is that it is not too big. so, if the weather is not in your favour you can fit it into in a basement or a garage. It also means you don't have to have a huge yard to use it outside either!

I discovered that three children can bounce happily without bumping into each other. My only concern is that the entrance opening is only kept together with Velcro and if a child should fall against it they may fall out and injure themselves - I fixed this by placing a blow up mattress outside!

It comes with its own "blower" and inflates rapidly, it is also very easy to dismantle again. The blower is not particularly noisy and definitely keeps good air pressure inside the jumping castle while the children play.

I was very surprised that for the price this bouncy castle is very well made and seems to be extremely robust. One purchase I have no regrets about!

Some Important Facts:

Dimensions: 12' X 9' and 7' High

Maximum Players: 3

Maximum Weight: 250lbs

Inflation Time: 2 Minutes

Comes with: UL blower motor, ground stakes and carry bag.

Bouncy Castle Review 2:

Blast Zone Magic Castle Inflatable Bouncer By Blast Zone

My friend bought this for her young son and his friends, here is what she thought about this bouncy castle.

The Blast Zone Magic Castle Inflatable bouncer is wonderful quality for a relatively low cost. The colours are vibrant - exactly as you see in the promotional photographs!

It has high, mesh outer walls which are just what is needed for safety and the platform for bouncing on is nice and flat.

It can be erected in no time at all and put away just as quickly. The blower is a little aggravating - it sounds sort of like a hair-dryer, but after a while you tend not to notice it too much.

I have allowed up to 4 toddlers playing happily in this jumping castle but for the older kids I put a limit of two at a time!

My small moan would be that on a bright summers day the youngsters have no protection from the sun - their hats come off when they bounce! A detachable sun screen would be a brilliant addition. My second complaint is the amount of power the blower uses, boy does it whiz the meter round but, such is life!

Without doubt we are all over the moon with our bouncy castle and look forward to many hours of fun for years to come.

Some Important Facts:

Dimensions: 8.5' W x 11' L x 8' H

Maximum Players: 3

Maximum Weight: 300lbs

Inflation Time: Around 2 Minutes

Comes with: UL Blower and Stakes

Bouncy Castle Review 3:

Ultimate Combo Inflatable Bounce House By Bounceland

My other friend bought this Rolls Royce of bouncy castles for her 3 youngsters it looks awesome but what did she and her children think?

WOW! That was my first reaction when I saw this jumping castle fully erected in the back yard. Then Oh My God! that slide looks high!

The fact is that this is the most appreciated few hundred bucks I have ever spent because the youngsters spend hours amusing themselves in their bouncy castle.

It erects and comes down quickly and without hassle and appears to be manufactured to a high standard using excellent quality materials. The blower I find a little noisy but I suppose is par for the course.

The actual bounce platform is quite small but there are so many other bits to this bouncy castle that the youngsters can spend hours playing and never bounce once! The additional activity areas include a ball bit, basketball hoops, the slide (which I have to say does have safety netting at the top) a tunnel as well as areas to climb.

I have had 6 small children to play in this bouncy castle without any difficulty but I would imagine that this will vary depending on the size and age of the children.

This has been a brilliant investment, the kids love it and can amuse themselves for a long time - we had our first party the other week with the "new bouncy castle" and it was very successful. Who needs to pay for entertainment when you can have an Ultimate Combo Inflatable Bounce House in the yard!

Some Important Facts:

Dimensions: L 12 ftxW 10 ft xH 8.5 ft.

Maximum Players: 4

Maximum Weight: 400lbs

Inflation Time: Less Than 1 Minute

Comes with: Strong UL Blower

Whilst we all want our youngsters to have fun and they all love their bouncy castles safety has to be a priority. Please follow all the manufactures instructions carefully and ensure that there is always adult supervision.

11 Surprising Benefits of CBD Edibles

11 Surprising Benefits of CBD Edibles

Have you tried CBD edibles?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is becoming one of the most popular supplements around.

CBD is a cannabinoid produced by the cannabis plant.

While it does not provide a psychotropic “high” like THC, there’s no doubt that CBD can have a positive effect on general health and wellbeing.

Yet, apart from puffing on a vapor pen or taking a capsule, how exactly do you consume CBD?

If you’re hoping to avoid inhaling, CBD edibles are an excellent option.

To give you the rundown on why these tasty treats are so great, here are 11 amazing benefits of CBD edibles:

1. CBD edibles provide long-lasting relief

CBD edibles have several benefits over smoking cannabis or inhaling a CBD vapor pen.

While it takes a while for CBD edibles to take effect (between 30 minutes to two hours), the result is relief that lasts longer than inhalation.

In a CBD edible, the active compound is combined with other foodstuffs.

This means that the CBD is released slowly over long periods of time as food is digested.

The result is a long-lasting CBD experience.

In fact, CBD edibles can last between two and four hours longer than inhaled CBD.

2. CBD is non-psychotropic
CBD may be a cannabis compound, but many are surprised to find that it does not cause a psychotropic “high”.

Instead, the cannabinoid offers consumers a mellow mood uplift with a sense of positive, alerted energy.

With their long-lasting nature, CBD edibles can provide prolonged relief from mild pains and daily stresses.

These would be a great option for anyone hoping to enjoy the benefits of cannabis without an over-the-top psychoactive experience.

3. CBD edibles are easy to make

While some prefer to make their own cannabutter or infused cooking oils, CBD edibles can be surprisingly simple to make.

Different CBD extractions can be added to cooked and baked goods for an added antioxidant boost.

CBD crystals, made with purified and isolated CBD, are now available in many cannabis access points and online.

Although you should know that isolated CBD tends to be less effective compared to whole-plant cannabis.

MCT oil tinctures infused with CBD are also handy to have around.

Both of these products are easy to dose, giving you more control over the amount of CBD available per serving.

4. Less risk of lung irritation
While vapor pens are more popular than ever, the long-term implications of inhaling hot oil are still yet to be determined.

Many vapor pens also contain added thinning agents, like propylene glycol (PG) and polyethylene glycol (PEG).

Research suggests that these thinning agents may produce toxic carcinogens when heated to temperatures above 436 (224).

While it is possible to find vapor pens that do not contain these additives, CBD edibles are an excellent way to avoid inhaling potentially toxic compounds.

This saves the lungs from irritation.

5. Allows for greater plant synergy
Cannabis isn’t the only therapeutic plant out there.

Evidence suggests that compounds in the herb, like CBD, interact with other plant molecules to produce amplified effects.

Lavender, for example, contains an aroma molecule called linalool.

Linalool belongs to a class of compounds called terpenes.

Terpenes are scent molecules that give many plants their unique fragrance.

As you may have guessed, cannabis contains an abundance of terpenes.

When making CBD edibles at home, adding other beneficial herbs to your culinary creation may help modulate the effects of the cannabinoid.

Linalool, the lavender compound, is known to have calming effects.

Mixing some CBD into a lavender tea or dessert may amplify the mellow effects of each herbal remedy.

Amazing, right?

6. They’re available online
Another great benefit of CBD edibles?

They’re available online.

While the precise regulations on CBD are a little fuzzy, many providers sell CBD online and ship around the United States.

CBD is also available in a handful of European countries.

CBD edibles sold online are “hemp-derived”. Hemp and cannabis are the same plant.

However, the word cannabis is often used when discussing varieties of the plant capable of producing psychoactive THC.

Hemp is frequently grown for fiber and seed, yet the term has recently been applied to high-CBD/low-THC cannabis cultivars.

In the United States, cannabis with less than 0.3 percent THC is considered hemp.

Hemp products sold online are made from this form of cannabis.

7. CBD balances the psychoactive effects of THC

Worried about getting little too elevated for comfort?

CBD edibles may help balance out a psychotropic THC.

While edibles tend to take a while to kick in, consuming a little CBD with your THC is a great way to moderate the psychoactive experience.

Research suggests that CBD can calm the psychoactive effects of THC, toning down what could be an uncomfortable experience for some.

Those that want a slight psychoactive experience may want to mix and match pre-dosed THC and CBD edibles.

8. CBD edibles are easy to dose
When you inhale CBD via a vape pen or through smoke, it can be very difficult to determine exactly how much CBD you are getting each time.

Many purchased CBD edibles come in pre-dosed servings, enabling you to calculate how much CBD you have consumed and how much you need to consume to achieve your desired results.

9. Edibles are discreet
Some forms of CBD can be cumbersome or impractical.

Even pocket vaporizers can get quite large and it may not always be convenient to pull out a pen vape to get your daily dose.

Those needing pain relief during a long flight or a focus boost during the workday will appreciate the ability to simply throw back a CBD gummy or two and get back to business.

No vape break required.

10. CBD is well-tolerated with minimal side effects
CBD can come with some side effects in high doses.

In fact, there is evidence that suggests that high-dose CBD may enhance the effects of pharmaceutical medications, making it necessary for consumers to lower their doses.

However, CBD is considered generally well-tolerated and even high-doses of the cannabinoid produce but minimal side effects.

A 2006 study published in the Brazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research concluded that CBD was safe at a wide range of doses in both healthy and epileptic study participants.

11. CBD edibles are a helpful general remedy
Researchers are investigating different ways to use CBD in medicine.

Already, CBD-based pharmaceutical drugs have been proven successful in treating some types of epilepsy in clinical trials.

Yet, you don’t need to have a serious medical condition to benefit from CBD.

CBD edibles may also be beneficial supplements to those with milder and first-aid related ailments.

Many people pop an ibuprofen or another anti-inflammatory drug after a minor injury, headache, or joint pain.

CBD, however, has been found to work in similar ways to these over-the-counter remedies without some of the harsh side effects like stomach ulcer and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Sounds like a step up, doesn’t it?

Cloud Based Solutions For Small Business - Yes, It's For You Too!

Cloud Based Solutions For Small Business - Yes, It's For You Too!

62% of small business report they are using some type of cloud application, up from 48% at the beginning of the year and 28% a year ago. Let's think about that. 15% to 20% adoption rates each year. Why? Because small businesses are starting to find out that cloud based solutions aren't big and scary, nor are they cost prohibitive. Most of this growth is coming in lare scale adoptions like Microsoft 365, or online file-sharing services such as Dropbox, but most haven't moved into online productivity offerings in a big way just yet... but they will.

If you are considering moving productivity suites to the cloud, which include word processing, spreadsheet, call center and calendar applications, adoption is incredibly slow among small business owners. Cloud-based productivity suites, like telecom solutions including IVR set-up or outbound power dialers, have the lowest adoption rates of all. Nearly two out of three businesses have no plans to use cloud-based productivity suites. Only 14% of those surveyed are currently using cloud-based productivity suites, and just 22% are thinking about adopting these services in 2013.

Cloud based solutions remove costly overhead. They do this through accessibility, collaboration and convenience. However, businesses often feel insecure about the data that's being passed through these services. This is why the lack of control over data security (cited by 73%); legal liabilities and compliance issues (49%), and reliability (48%) are the three top concerns for small business owners that are considering "the cloud". Most of these concerns are mitigated when you look at cloud solutions for phone solutions such as inbound and outbound IVR, or automated call distribution, or even power/predictive dialing features.

Another recent Deloitte survey also noted that mid-size businesses described as those with annual revenues between $50 million and $100 million are catching the fever of cloud religion. This expansive survey of 500+ executives found that more than 40% (up from 30% last year) recognize cloud computing or Software as a Service (Saas) as one of the most important technology investments for 2013. The amount of businesses that are turning to cloud based solutions to empower their call center agents will likely catch up to that in short order, as education around the value and lack of restraints improve. It's important to note that there are no compliance issues when changing to cloud based solutions. In fact, access to records is normally faster and more reliable than dealing with clunky on-premise records that may be hard copy based and easily destroyed, lost or misplaced.

In closing, there's a "quick list" of good reasons to adopt the cloud. These include:

* Accessible anytime from anywhere.

* Safe & secure data storage.

* Affordability by avoiding on-premise hardware.

* Scalability to grow as your business does.

* Compliance and ease of retrieval for key data.
